about the vineyard

Folin Vineyards is located in the Rogue Valley AVA. Southern Oregon's hot summer days, and cool nights make our location ideal for producing exceptional wines from the warmer climate of Oregon. We are approximately 10 miles North of Medford, 5 miles east of the I-5, on the scenic Rogue River.

The vineyard is planted to Viognier, Syrah, Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, Mourvèdre and Grenache. Utilizing the most innovative vineyard management practices, Folin Vineyards produces grapes for some of Oregon's most noteworthy winemakers as well as being the exclusive source for Folin Cellars wines.

our winery

The winery was designed to facilitate high end wine making while still having architectural interest. Our 3 barrel caves and main work space are located 10 feet underground to reduce the energy needed to heat and cool the facility. The harvest deck is at ground level which allows us to process our fruit to the main level by gravity instead of using must pumps.

The spacious tasting room overlooks the scenic Sam's Valley and is surrounded by our Estate Vineyards. Our creative energy was focused on the design of the tasting room to create an inviting environment. From the stained concrete floors to the 20 foot open beam ceilings, the room was created to capture the natural light of the region while highlighting the craftsmanship of the building. Visitors are encouraged to explore the grounds and take in the vineyard views and wildlife that regularly pass through the property.
