This is our first release of Petite Sirah from our Estate vineyard. Extremely dark in the color, the wine has aromatic notes of intense black fruit and earth. The palate is loaded with rich, ripe berries that lead to an extremely long yet soft textured finish. This wine is enjoyable now or will benefit from aging.

This single barrel selection was handpicked to display the unique characteristics of the varietal. Often used as a blending wine, Mourvèdre has a meaty richness and wonderful longevity when bottled on its own. Our 2008 selection aromatically displays fresh tilled earth and barrel char with a hint of nutmeg. The palate of dark red fruits, cola, and bittersweet chocolate lead to a long, lingering finish. This wine will benefit from cellaring for up to 10 years.
